GRADING SYSTEM & DISTRIBUTION
Our school uses Criteria-Based Assessment (CBA) to determine students’ term and yearly grades. In this system, students are evaluated according to predetermined criteria, not in comparison with others.
CBA includes two types of assessment:
1. Formative Assessment:
Conducted throughout the term.
  • Helps students identify strengths and weaknesses.
  • Allows teachers to address learning gaps immediately.
2. Summative Assessment:
Conducted at the end of a unit or term.
  • Unit assessments make up 50% of the term grade.
  • The end-of-term assessment makes up the remaining 50%.
